CARBON VS CERAMIC

Stay cooler, protect your interior, and cut glare—Klatte installs both ceramic and carbon films. Both block UV; the big difference is infrared (IR) heat rejection. Ceramic tints use nano-ceramic particles to block more IR heat for a noticeably cooler cabin, while carbon tints deliver strong performance and a rich, non-reflective look at a great value.

Common Tint questions

How long does a window tint appointment take?

Most cars are finished in 2 hours for sides/rear. Add time for windshield work or old film removal.

What should I expect while the film cures?

A slight haze is normal for 2–5 days (longer in cool/wet weather). Avoid rolling windows down for 48 hours.

Is it legal, and which shade can I choose?

We help you select a VLT that complies with local rules. Windshield darkness is often restricted; clear UV/IR “heat shield” options are available.

How do I care for new tint?

After curing, clean with ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber.
